Vintage antique Moroccan leather purse; embroidered; maroquinerie - $80 (EL PRADO)

This is an antique, vintage Moroccan purse made between 1920 and 1940.
It comes from my mother's closet.
She was born and raised in French Morocco between 1920-1940.
It appears that she used it some and yet the leather is in excellent vintage/antique condition.
The embroidery shows some wear and has a nice patina.
I believe the original color was a deep maroon and the leather embroidered decor may have been cream or yellow.
The original maroon color can be seen under the flaps.
As is customary, the shoulder strap is a lovely heavy knotted cord that is still in excellent condition and hangs from metal rings.
The main compartment is roomy and there are four exterior pockets including a change pouch on the outside.
