Art Nouveau Bronze Vase KOMART Signed - $450 (Santa Fe)

*PRICE REDUCED*Art Nouveau Bronze Vase KOMART Signed - striking textural bronze vase / pot adorned by a pair of delicately carved reclining female bodies - I purchased it over 25 yrs ago at an antique fair in Florida and was told it was either turn of the century Art Nouveau original or a mid century Nouveau revival & at the time that was not importamt to me - I just thought it was lovely - in researching this piece, I have found several similar vases but with very little actual information - like my vase they are signed "komart" and although the piece may be artist signed I cannot locate a signature - one online listing attributed the work to Louis Auguste Moreau (1855-1919) a renowned French sculptor - I suspect that my vase is a mid-century revival piece which was cast from the original wax mold however the origin, age, and fabrication remain a mystery - I would not recommend filling it with any water.
It's been used to hold dried floral arrangements since I have owned it Size: 10" tall x base circumference at base 20" x at widest 30" x 8" deep and it is quite heavy Condition: Very good for age.
There is a bit of dust and patina.
Superficial scratches are present but nothing ugly.
