*Job Description:* The Gerald Peters Gallery is seeking a highly organized and professional individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant to the President.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the President, managing both their personal and professional schedules with efficiency and discretion.
This position works primarily with The Peters Corp (TPC), the parent company for multiple entities including but limited to commercial real estate, restaurants, art galleries, and banking.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
• Act as the critical link between the President and various departments within The Peters Corporation (TPC), the parent company encompassing a diverse portfolio including commercial real estate, restaurants, galleries, and more.
• Perform a wide range of administrative duties to support the President, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Manage and coordinate the President’s calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and engagements.
• Draft, type, and prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as required.
• Successfully complete the notary licensing process and notarize signatures when required
• Arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related needs for the President.
• Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and integrity.
• Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
*Required Qualifications:*
• A minimum of a BA/BS degree.
• Proven experience as an executive assistant, preferably for VP level or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with various databases.
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel, including senior executives.
• Strong capability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-level administrative tasks.
• Experience within an arts organization and knowledge of the art world will be considered a strong asset.
