*DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: *To coordinate, provide, and supervise a continuum of services promoting behavioral health and resilience for tribal youth and their families.
Provide direct clinical services to include psychological assessments and individual, family, and group therapy.
Consults with and advises leadership on problems relating to program operations.
Recommends and initiates changes in policies/procedures to carry out objectives of the program more effectively.
Consult as needed with youth-oriented tribal programs.
Assists in the administration and coordination of program activities.
Resolves problems with utilization of staff and equipment.
Assist in the program development of this new sector or programming, and continuous quality improvement for program.
Attend child protection meetings.
Participates in and attends staff conferences, committees, etc.
to evaluate and plan program services.
Participate in tribal court proceedings.
Conducts grant reporting and writing.
Public speaking/writing skills.
Management and leadership skills.
Skills in communicating with multicultural population.
Child/family assessment skill.
Broad knowledge of public and private human resources.
Make agency referrals.
*REQUIREMENTS: *Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in counseling, psychology, social work or closely related clinical field.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the management and supervision of staff in a clinical or social services setting.
NM Licensure required; LCSW preferred.
