*JOB TITLE:* Night Manager, Taos NEST
*REPORTS TO: *Shelter Director
*POSITION STATUS: *Full-time, hourly, regular non-exempt 36 hours/week
*Night Manager:*
* Maintains trauma-informed, supportive environment for staff and residents
* Oversees safe, effective program operations for the NEST program
* Ensures provision of basic services in an emotionally and physically safe, clean, and supportive atmosphere
* Embodies DreamTree’s values of integrity, safety & structure, respect, and empathy
*Education & Experience Requirements:*
* At least 2 years of management and/or supervisory experience in a human services related field
* High School Diploma / GED and 2 years of relevant experience in a human services related field OR Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field of study and 1 year of relevant experience in a human services related field
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and implement shelter policies, procedures, and operations in keeping with evidence-based practices and community needs
* Supervise and Support Shelter Attendants and Enchanted Circle Corps members (8 direct reports)
* Ensure all supplies are adequately available to support operations
* Practice reflective supervision on a daily basis, as well in monthly dedicated meetings
* Participate in hiring, coaching, and addressing performance issues of employees
* Coordinate initial training for new employees
* Coordinate coverage and scheduling
* Ensure program environments operate safely, including review of incidents and follow-up
* Facilitate grievance process when needed
* Monitor and maintain consistency, fairness, and clarity when executing program guidelines and expectations
* Review staff notes
* Support staff with intakes
* Attend meetings and training sessions as scheduled, including all staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, reflective supervision, and others as designated by supervisor
* Participate in the on-call phone rotation schedule
* If needed, cover night shifts
* Maintain a clean driving record based on DreamTree Project insurance requirements
* Participate in other duties as assigned
*Additional Compensation:*
* $100 = 30 Days after start date
* $100 = 60 Days after start date
