Why does the job exist?
The ASD Project Manager will provide budget, finance and administrative support to the division.
How does it get done?
• The ASD Project Manager is responsible for oversight of the administrative support and reception area in the PERA building.
Administrative support within the bureau is primarily for ASD staff and manager is responsible for coordinating daily/monthly/annual projects with ASD staff.
Oversight includes recruitment, hiring, training, evaluations, discipline, scheduling, and coordinating all assignments.
All employee activities will be conducted in collaboration with the agency Human Resources bureau.
(30%);
• Responsible for monthly budget projections for Program Support to include the monitoring of operational expenditures, encumbrances, and payroll.
Also includes monitoring of all types of funding sources received including coordinating the federal grant staff.
Monthly budget projections should be reviewed with ASD leadership on a regular basis.
(40%);
• Responsible for financial transactions for ASD including travel requests, purchase orders, vouchering/accounts payable, and contracts/procurement.
Responsible for ordering, organizing and coordinating any supplies needed for the bureau.
(30%).

Minimum Qualification
A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of professional level experience operating within parameters and guidelines directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment.

Employment Requirements
Must possess a current and valid Driver's License.
Pre-employment background investigation is required and conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
