Why does the job exist? The Management Analyst - Advanced will: Work as part of a unit of six staff in the Administrative Enforcement Unit in Child Support; Enforce child support orders through tax interceptions, license suspensions, bank account freezes through data matches with financial institutions, property liens, credit reporting and receipt of lump sum payments.
How does it get done? The Management Analyst - Advanced is responsible for: Being proficient in the processes of all areas of the unit; Maintaining compliance of federal, state, and department rules, regulations, and procedures of enforcement methods.
Who are the customers? This position supports Child Support Services Division staff, Human Services Department staff, other state and federal agencies, and ultimately the families of New Mexico.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has: Analytical thinking skills; Strong reading comprehension; Ability to work with a team; Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.

Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
Possible exposure to irate clientele.
Some statewide travel may be required.
Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints.
Must have own mode of transportation for work-related travel.
