Why does the job exist?
The Management Analyst - Advanced will:
Process allocations for the Community Benefit (CB) Waiver for the Medicaid Centennial Care program;
Conduct research using various computer programs;
Provide technical assistance to program providers, contractors, and other state agencies;
Resolve complex issues, analyze data, reports, and attending meetings as required.
How does it get done?
The Management Analyst - Advanced is responsible for:
Running reports and verifying weekly lists to obtain new registrations;
Conducting research and verifying expedites, exceptions, community reintegration's, and regular allocation types;
Providing information regarding the CB Waiver Program and eligibility status;
Referring members to appropriate agencies for assistance;
Evaluating new and on-going programs and making recommendations for program modifications or changes.

Medicaid recipients, providers, and other state and federal government agencies.
Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate has:
Knowledge of Medicaid programs:
Strong analytical skills;
Experience working with different systems.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
Possible exposure to irate clientele.
Some statewide travel may be required.
Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints.
Must have own mode of transportation for work-related travel.
Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be requires.
