This position is located in Center, CO and is responsible for all aspects of the Center shipping department and warehouse.
Major responsibilities include: Inventory control, Loading of outbound trucks, Receiving of inbound trucks and Supervise the warehouse personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities: Our objective is to achieve a minimum of 95% on- time deliveries and provide good customer service by ensuring outbound shipments are accurate, in good condition and comply with all established company policies and procedures for shipping.
Accurate preparation, verification, and records retention of all inbound and outbound paperwork and documentation, including: verify shipping labels, Bills of Lading, Loading Sheets, COAs, all pertinent records, product quantity.
Maintain inventory, organization within the warehouse(s), product condition, and performs cycle counts in accordance with company requirements.
Ensure the standard of first in - first out (FIFO) is maintained to Company expectations.
Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of shipping procedures, including scheduling and planning, logistics, inventory, paperwork and documentation.
Ability to supervise direct reports and coordinate personnel work schedules to maximize cost controls and efficiencies, while achieving deadlines and on-time shipments and avoiding detention charges.
Extensive forklift operating experience needed.
