The Director of Institutional Research and Management (DIRM) is a full-time (12 month) administrative position reporting to the Provost/VPAA.
The individual in this position will be responsible for the following major tasks:
1).
Collecting, maintaining, and submitting information pertinent to all current and future state, federal, and other compliance agencies reporting requirements.
2).
Designing and implementing a system to report enrollment data in real-time.
3).
Leading and managing efforts to work closely with faculty to establish learning outcomes, design and implement a process to collect and analyze information regarding learning outcomes in all disciplines, and prepare reports illustrating our work in learning outcomes.
4).
Serve as ex-officio of Senate Outcomes Assessment Committee.
5).
Assist with the HLC reports,
6).
Work with other offices such as HR and SEM to establish data sets.
7).
Develop dashboards for use in decisions NMHU wide.
8).
Complete other data requests and reports as appropriate to improve institutional outcomes.
Remote work from within New Mexico possible but would require weekly travel to Las Vegas.
Duties and Responsibilities
The DIRM will be a member of the Expanded Leadership Team; now meeting every other week.
Minimum Job Requirements
A master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
1.
A graduate degree in a discipline employing quantitative knowledge and skills;
2.
A terminal degree from an accredited institution;
3.
Experience managing and leading others in pursuit of a common goal;
4.
Experience with designing data collection schemes, collecting and maintaining data, and devising data displays;
5.
Experience with outcomes assessment, and
6.
Verified experience and or dispositions leading to a collegial and service oriented approach to work.
