TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Administrative Services/Information Management SUPERVISOR: Chief Information Officer or designee Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Chief Information Officer or designee, manages and administers the provision of supported applications and user support services.
Ensures the cost-efficient provision of hardware and software services, support, problem analysis, and core technical support.
Provides technical leadership and participates in strategic and organizational planning for the delivery and support of supported information technology services.
Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• CompTIA A+ Certification or CompTIA Project + Certification or industry equivalent Project Management certification.
• Six years’ experience in IT technical support, including at least two years desktop support.
• Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license.
• Successful completion of thorough background investigation, including FBI fingerprint check.
Must not have been convicted of a felony.
Preferred Qualifications: • PMP Certification.
• Up-to-date Microsoft Professional Certification in current operating system.
• Net+ Certification.
• Two years’ experience with the current version of MS Office Suite.
• Microsoft advanced certification.
• Cisco advanced certification.
• ITIL Certification.
