Tech2 Solutions (T2S) is a critical subcontractor on the N3B Los Alamos LLC team and will be providing program management and technical services in support of the ground & surface water monitoring program at the U.
S.
Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory.
T2S is a full-service engineering and environmental consulting company with a worldwide reach in the areas of environmental monitoring and remediation, national security, systems engineering, data management and analytics for both federal and commercial customers.
T2S is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager – Drilling.
While working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, will ensure all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; will maintain required safety, security and operational training; assure procedural and regulatory compliance; and make safety and security an integral part of every task; including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security.
Responsibilities: · The Project Manager for drilling is assigned the responsibility for confirming that the procedures being implemented follow their section technical requirements.
· Develops, coordinates and reviews preparedness documents, reports and other submittals to confirm the content meets project requirements within schedule and budget.
· Interacts with and supports the Program Manager to provide technical direction for their section and expedient communication of project details.
· Tracks project cost, schedule and variance with assistance from the Project Management Office, the Drilling STR, and the Program Manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to): · Broad applied knowledge of principles, concepts and techniques in the field of environmental health & safety.
· Skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks independently with little instruction.
· Ability to work within established policies and procedures, using independent judgment and ingenuity.
· Coordinates and manages field personnel and activities to maintain scope, cost and schedule.
· Manage drilling and pump subcontractors to minimize cost and meet schedule.
· Communicates with and maintains positive relationships with all support and client entities.
· Support Consent Order compliance for Groundwater Program.
· Capable of quickly developing and reviewing drilling scope of work, request for proposals and review of contracts in support of procurement.
· A Project Manager is responsible for confirming that procedures being implemented comply with the environmental, safety, health, quality and technical requirements.
· Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
· Complies with all health & safety policies and practices.
Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field; however, a combination of education and/or relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
· The career level of the position will be determined by the years of relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities after a candidate has been chosen.
· A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Minimum Qualifications: · At least 10 years’ experience related to drilling/pump/environmental project management.
· Water well drilling and pump experience is preferred.
· Sufficient practical knowledge of environmental sciences to understand and utilize scientific data.
· Skill and ability to perform critical strategic tasks and to interpret broad strategic requirements and develop and execute plans to satisfy them.
· Ability to have major impact on organizational success and productivity, with extensive latitude for independent judgment.
· Ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels.
· Ability to contribute functional expertise to business proposal initiatives.
· Ability to develop and lead large-sized projects, including defining scope, objectives and methods.
· Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
· Can be viewed as an expert within a specialty and as highly competent within the broad discipline, both internally and externally.

· Ability to work in a team-oriented project environment.
· Familiarity with the LANL site and work environment preferred including other DOE environmental sites.
· Familiarity with EVMS and P6 systems preferred.

· In this position the qualified candidate will support Drilling and Well Maintenance and occasionally, the following departments: Groundwater Monitoring, Surface Water Monitoring, Storm Water, and/or Remediation Services.
