At least three (3) years of Food Service experience required
HSD/GED required

This position reports to the CEO of the facility, and directs the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with department and organizational objectives.
Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
This position directs staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
Ensures all regulatory requirements and metrics are met on a continual basis.
Ensures that food prepared and served to our patients and staff is high quality, attractive and nutritious, and meets all dietary guidelines.
This position will also oversee caterings for meetings and events.
Reporting staff include: Executive Chef, Cooks, Nutrition Aide, Clinical Dietician.
