Responsible for the safety of Employees, Patrons, building facility grounds and all other property belonging to the Ohkay Casino.
Responsible to maintain Public Relations for the Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo reservation as prescribed by the Ohkay Owingeh Tribal Council and Department Policies.
Reports to the Security Director, Manager and Shift Manager and is directly responsible for his/her assigned shift.
Must protect Company assets; Monies, Property, Customers, and Employees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Protect property against Theft, Vandalism, Fire and unauthorized entry using proper procedures as determined by Security Director.
Patrols buildings and grounds on a periodic schedule.
Reports mechanical failure to appropriate personnel.
Watches for and reports all irregularities, occurring during shift.
Prepares documentation concerning each incident to appropriate personnel on a daily basis.
Provides escort by request of patrons to their transportation to ensure safety.
Coordinates the security escort of all monies transferred to and from the cages.
Testify in court as deemed necessary by proper officials, involving Company Related Incidents.
Report and assist in all Medical Emergencies.
Perform Post-Accident and/or Reasonable Suspicion Drug and Alcohol Tests.
Attend training sessions as determined necessary by the Security Director.
Will adhere to and uphold all Security Policies and Procedures as established by the Security Director.
Advises and Renders Assistance to Security Officers in the performance of their duties.
Directly assists the Security Shift Manager to insure that all department policies and procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work effectively with the public and other facility personnel.
Be responsible and effective in emergencies.
Ability to model and maintain standards of a productive and responsible employee.
Ability to accept the responsibility for performance on their assigned shifts.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Maintain personal uniforms and equipment as assigned.
Must have or be willing to acquire CPR and First-Aid certification.
In the absence of the Shift Manager the Security Shift Supervisor must have the ability to assume Shift Manager Duties, Responsibilities and Authority.
Must have 1-2 years experience in Casino Security, Law Enforcement and/or Military Service.
