Month long rental of a room in my house for one person.
I am not looking for a long term housemate.
This is a good place for someone who is just moving here or who needs a place to land while they search for something long term.
Easy commute to Los alamos
The bedroom is 114 ft2.
You will have your own bathroom.
Kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils etc.
You will have 2 shelves in the fridge and a large cabinet space to put your food.
I keep the kitchen clean.
There is a washer, dryer, and laundry line.
There is no TV, but you are welcome to bring one for your room.
$650 plus $200 security deposit, utilities included.
There is high speed internet.
If you are visiting NM, you can rent for a week for $200.
The room is lightly furnished with a bed, dresser, desk and closet.
You must have a car and must have a job.
I work partially from home so this is not a good fit for someone else working from home full time.
I am a musician, which means often I will be playing guitar, piano, and violin when I am home.
House is quiet nights from 10:00 pm-8:30 am.
I am sober and would prefer someone who is sober, or at least no daily use of alcohol or marijuana.
I am a nonsmoker and there will be no smoking of anything inside.
I am mostly fragrance free- I use essential oil diffusers, or will burn a small amount of sage occasionally.
No perfumes, incense, or heavy fragrance.
Only natural products in the washer/dryer- examples are 7th generation or Ecos.
Even with these restrictions, this is not a good house for someone truly chemically intolerant since the people who lived here before used fragranced products.
No cats allowed, but a small-medium dog is fine.
I have a very sweet chihuahua who loves everyone and doesn't bark often.
She is not the stereotypical chihuahua.
There is a fenced in back yard.
Espanola is about 40 minutes from santa fe, 1 hour from Taos, and 30 minutes to Los Alamos.
It’s about an hour drive to every ski mountain.

I am a queer folk musician and music teacher.
I have a diverse range of students so if you are around while I am practicing, expect to hear all genres of acoustic music.
The house is not huge so we will hear each other.
